Poppy shows Zach how to stand up on a surf board. Now he just has to get the nerves to actually go in the water.Ellie and PoppyThe view down the beach with the Bogey Hole in the distance.

And out to the surf - and this is a low surf day.

And if you look carefully, you can see the dolpins playing just beyond the surf. At least, I hope they are dolphins...................

4th Birthday Party

It's a 4th brithday Super Hero party, and everyone is invited! There is only one a year, so even in Australia we have to make sue Brithday time is three times as good.

The wonderful Caz has gone to effort of making special superhero capes for the boys, which they adore.

Hannah finds time for a quick power drink before things get started.

Kate has arranged Treasure hunt in the garden (hopefully no-one finds the dead lorikeet I chucked in there a few weeks ago).

The lovely Bella Leighton helps Zach in his search. Bella was wonderful in helping out during the day. If only we could bottle some of her temperment.

Princess Hannah shows her findings.

Kate's cousin Barb helped by cooking some of her legendary sausage rolls. I had my eye on some for dinner, but no luck.

Fellow triplets enjoy the 'roller coaster'. There are now two 4" deep gashes down our lawn.

Finally, it is cake time.

Thanks to two of our 'helpers' - Olivia Leighton and Tatti.

Princess Hannah's Ball

Once upon a time, Princess Hannah was hosting a Ball. Introducing Princess Hannah....

Each guest who arrives has a dance with Princess Hannah (she is a demanding Princess, afterall). First to arrive is Prince Fireman Sam...

Prince Fireman Sam took Princess Hannah for a lovely dance....

Next to arrive was Prince Spiderman, a quite unexpected guest.

Prince Spiderman was very excited as he climbed in through the window, making very hard for the Court Photographer...

But finally, Princess Hannah had her dance, and Prince Spiderman graciously said good night before turning back into a three year old monster on a sugar rush.

And they all lived happily ever after.

More rain

Too cheap to invest in three umbrellas?

Puddles

More thunderstorms in Sydney, which keeps everyone in the house for the morning. As soon as the clouds break, the sun shines, and everyone is out in the wellies (or gumboots) to jump in the puddles.

I'm ready for my close-up

No, Hannah has not come down with some strange tropical skin disease. This is the result of a christmas gift of various coloured lip gloss, inadvertantly discribed as "make-up". Hannah must have kept this at the back of her mind until we have a visit from friends - where she and her friend proceed to lock themselves in the bathroom for half and hour. This is the result.
