Christina arrives

Today is Christina's first day at work - the new Au Pair from Germany comes to stay for the next few months.  Hannah seems to have adopted her as her own personal assistant, but the boys seem to be getting on okay.  This is Sunday, and Christina fights off the jet lag whilst Zach and Hannah try to 'do' her hair.   She had to decline when it came to doing the make-up.

Literacy day at triplets school, I sit down with Thomas to read "Sing Together". 

'Sing, sing, sing a song, sing a song together' (Good start, T).
'Eat, eat, eat our food, eat our food together' (Going well, Big Guy). 
'Jump, jump, jump to bed, jump to bed together' (okay, just the tuck in bed bit left).
'*uck, *uck, *uck us in... "STOP!!!!! THATS A 'T" NOT AN F!"

Dinner time. And while the boys wait for their pizza, Thomas calculates the square root of minus one.

Off to Christchurch at ridiculous o'clock tomorrow. First time to Hobbit-land.

Helpful hands

Bless Hannah - today she helped me hang out the washing, swept up the leaves on the deck, chopped vegetables for dinner, and vacuumed out the car. Meanwhile, the boys sit inside watching Star Wars and playing Angry Birds.
